Rainflash

Leopard shining through milk,
Spittle on the windowsill.
Tearing pink tissue,
Slipping softly forward
With kettle corn thoughts.
A dripping faucet.
Liquid sunshine falling
gently,
Cotton soaking in the light
And dripping gray
Upon shingled umbrellas.
Muddy waters,
Pooled pavement,
Sinking ships,
A glass mirror.
Remembering.

Leopard shining through milk,
Spittle on the windowsill.
Gathering the light.
A blackening carousel,
Crunching against
Clashing mountains.
Gloom on the outside,
But warm by the fire.
Soon started,
Soon over,
A string on my finger,
A moment.

A Sleepless Night

Rest. Wait. Stare.
Lying. White. Bed.
Gazing into nothingness
Thinking, clearing my mind.
Letting my brain restfrom the extensive excess.

Wait. Stare. Rest.
Lying. White. Bed.
The clock blinks 12:00
Awaiting it to go off
Minuets tick away
Seconds, counting down slowly.

Stare. Rest. Wait.
Lying. White. Bed.
The ceiling seems dim
The color plain, simple, easy
Grayish a little at night.

Rest… Wait… Stare……
Laying …White …Bed
Toss, turn, roll, grumble
Uncomfortable lying here
Annoyed the feeling
Unkempt; my head.

Rest. Wait. Stare.
White. Bed. Lying.
The color of everything.
Plain and simple
with no life to it.
I’m tired of it!
Rest…*yawn*
Wait…*12:15*
Stare…*sleepy*
Lying in a…
White cover on my…
Bed…*close eyes*
Good Night
